Sun Lite

 

SunLite is an outstanding choice for fabric architecture. This 15 oz. 100% polyester fabric has the look of a natural fiber, but is one of the toughest fabrics you can find. It has a 5 to 7 year life expectancy.

 

 

Tropical and tropical plus

 

We recommend Tropical and Tropical Plus for humid climates. This smooth surfaced vinyl coated polyester fabric is easy to clean. Tropical is 16 oz. and has a life expectancy of 8-12 years. Tropical Plus, with an additional protective film, Is 19 0z and has a 12-20 year life expectancy.

 

Clear Vinyl

Our Sun Dome is made of clear vinyl for sunbathing and star gazing. The life expectancy is 3 to 7 years, depending on the UV exposure.

 

WINDOWS

 

Our windows are made with clear vinyl and are extremely durable. Each eco shelter dome comes with a large bay window. Also included are 2 ft. diameter round windows with optional interchangeable screens. Skylights are available.

Our standard geodesic dome door is a Fabric Door and can be opened and zipped closed from the inside or out. It can be rolled up and tied open. The 16 ft. geodesic dome door is 4 ft. tall by 2 ft. wide. The 20 ft. to 60 ft. geodesic domes have a diamond shaped door hole approximately 6 ft. tall by 3 ft. wide. Our Pre-Hung Door Option allows for a normal opening and closing/lockable door installation. Shelter Round Hoop Doors for your geodesic dome can also be used to connect two or more domes.

When he published the math for his geodesic dome, he was immediately contacted by a German scientist who proclaimed it is the exact math found in the cell wall. Current scientists have named nano particles "Bucky Balls". Russian scientists have photos from space showing the earth is an icosahedron.

The American Institute of Architects has acclaimed the geodesic dome "the strongest, lightest and most efficient means of enclosing space known to man". They handle hurricane winds, extreme snow loads and are the safest structure in an earthquake.

Pacific Domes are engineered for both internal and external weight loads. We offer an in-house structural analysis upon request. To be approved for permitting, your local building department may require engineering documents. Our architect and engineer can help you meet your requirements. The Sun Frost RF16 is an extremely energy efficient full-size refrigerator. It has two independent cooling systems and temperature controls. In fact, one compartment may be left running while the other is shut off. The uniquely designed cooling coils on the outside of the Sun Frost do not require fans.

When you put warm or hot water into the drum, fit the lid in place and seal the machine, the air inside the drum will absorb the heat of the water and expand (i.e., just like a hot air balloon). When the air expands it creates pressure inside the drum. The pressure forces the detergent (which is diluted into the water) into & through the fabric (which is porous) about 100 times faster than you could by hand or machine! A great energy efficient appliance for your new home.

Washes a 5-lb. load super clean in just a couple of minutes. Has a patented pressure system that forces detergent into the fabric at high speed for a fast, efficient, economic and very easy wash.
